Sol Services Limited (Solservicios), a company part of the Soltex group, successfully completed contract related to the mechanical works project in the air system for the operation of pneumatic valves at Northern desalination plant in the neighborhood of La Chimba, Antofagasta, awarded to Soltex, in the middle of 2016. In order to carry out the work, it was necessary to install modular containers of work at plant premises, with Solservicios offices and specialized equipment, including Ametek USG pressure comparator, Crystal pressure gauges, Loop verification equipment, 4 to 20 mA generator, specific manual tools for piping and pneumatic connection, among others.

The supply of main equipment was provided by Soltex, among them solenoid valves manifold of its represented brand Asco Numatics designed for severe services, Limit Switches mechanics Topworx, particle and coalescent filters of great magnitude flow in 2" lines for the Main compressors, Kunkle safety valves in storage tank, among others. All mentioned above proves the strong synergies of both companies, working together, with important benefits such as interoperability of equipment, easy adaptation according to standards of connection and power, operation in industrial environments, economic, administrative and logistic efficiencies. The initiative considered works such as air network laying, check of connectors, derivations and integration of boards, installation of process equipment, functional tests in more than 80 On / Off and control pneumatic cabinets, hydrostatic and sealing tests, piping, assembly and connection of multiparas, inductive and mechanical limit switches, as well as 4 to 20 mA control for process control valves, among others, being executed under strict safety and risk prevention standards by technicians and specialists from both Soltex as Solservicios.
